We finally made it home after the Lori Foster reader author get together. After a stop in Detroit to see some friends and family, we finally made it home around midnight last night. The drive seemed to take forever but it was worth it.

I saw friends that I haven’t seen in a year and made a few more. It’s easy to say that the get together is one of the highlights of my year. We drive to Ohio, stay in the hotel for three or four days and get away from our everyday lives, if only for a little while.

I met a lot of new friends, readers, authors and editors alike and I look forward to seeing them all next year. Please don’t hesitate to contact me whether you met me at the get together or not. I look forward to hearing from each and every one of you!

I’d better run, the hubby needs me to follow him up to the rental car agency to turn in the car we rented for the trip. With the goody baskets and other things I took for giveaways this year, I think we’ll need to rent a van next year because I plan to take much more.
